Travel Risk Map: Denmark among the safest countries in the world.

The latest edition of the interactive Travel Risk Map classifies countries according to the threat posed to travellers, road safety risk and medical provision

Hiking, Northern Jutland, Denmark. According to International SOS and the latest Travel Risk Map, Denmark is one of the safest countries in the world for travellers. Denmark is one category safer than e.g. England, U.S.A. and France.

Five categories of risk

International SOS and Control Risks publish Travel Risk Map to help organisations better understand the risks in the markets where they operate and travel. There are five categories of risk: insignificant, low, medium, high and extreme.
In 2019 the safest countries are deemed to be Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg and Greenland, which all have “insignificant” security risk.
