Niels Dahlin Lisborg is a conservation manager and forester with nearly thirty years of experience in nature conservation and land management across Denmark. He currently serves as operations manager for one of Northern Europe's most important wetland areas for waterbirds — and has managed numerous nature restoration projects and some of Denmark's largest and wildest landscapes, including the Skjern River Nature Project and the Tipperne Bird Reserve. A trained forester and certified nature guide, Niels founded the Danish nature magazine Naturmagasinet.dk (NaturGuide.dk) in 2003 and has spent more than two decades writing about Danish wildlife. He is also an accomplished wildlife photographer whose images have appeared in numerous books and periodicals.
