The latest edition of the interactive Travel Risk Map classifies countries according to the threat posed to travellers, road safety risk and medical provision
Five categories of risk
International SOS and Control Risks publish Travel Risk Map to help organisations better understand the risks in the markets where they operate and travel. There are five categories of risk: insignificant, low, medium, high and extreme.
In 2019 the safest countries are deemed to be Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg and Greenland, which all have “insignificant” security risk.
